Our District, established in 2017, serves approximately 4,500 preschool through 12th-grade students across three communities: Essex Town, Essex Junction, and Westford.
Parents, staff members, students, and the entire community work together to provide quality programs to help every child become successful.

Residents new to the district will be assigned a school based on their address. If you need more information on the schools in your community, please contact (802) 857-2000, and Gabbie Wray can assist you. Please have your street address ready.
Register a new student by visiting the New Student Enrollment page in our "For Families" section.
Essex Town* residents will attend
Essex Elementary School (K-2),
Founders Memorial School (3-5) or
Essex Middle School (6-8.)
Essex Village* residents will attend either
Hiawatha Elementary schools (K-3)
Thomas Fleming School (4-5), and
Westford residents will attend Westford School from kindergarten through 8th grade.
Westford is served by bus transportation.
All students attend Essex High School (and some attend Center for Technology, Essex) for grades 9-12.
Bus service to EHS and CTE varies and depends on town of origin.

*Please note: "Essex Jct." is the postal address for all home addresses and includes both Essex town and village. The Town of Essex encompasses the Village of Essex Junction. The Village and Town each have dedicated schools.
